Follow the successful meeting at Banaras Hindu University in March 2014, the 2nd Biennial Indian Drosophila research Conference(InDRC) will be held at Indian Institute of technology kanpur, between December21-23, 2015 under auspices of the Indian Society of Developmental Biologists(InSDB). The meeting would display the range of research questions being addressed by a resurgent Indian Drosophila research community. Over 30 research investigators and including several young researchers will speak while a large number would present their results through poster and selected platform presentations - to engage in exchange of ideas, techniques and, finally, bond together. the meeting would particularly focus on presentations by doctoral and post-doctoral research besides dedicating special session on emerging technologies and new areas of translational biomedical research using the Drosophila model.
